Hi! I have a Bachelors in Philosophy from UCF and continued my education as a self-taught full stack developer after graduation. While at LS&T I also learned a lot about DevOps, cloud computing, the LTI 1.3 spec and infrastructure as code. I've worked on a wide range of projects while working at UCF. Some that I am most proud of include:
- The Python LTI 1.3 Cookiecutter, used in Materia's Django rewrite
- Leading a shift to IaC for our cloud-hosted apps
- Standing up and maintaining multiple Canvas-LMS instances for both internal and proof-of-concept prod-like environments
- Standardizing and documenting best practices for deployment to AWS
In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, cycling, running, and immersing myself in the world of music.
Expertise:
- Python (Django & Flask)
- AWS/Cloud Computing
- Infrastructure as Code (OpenTofu)
- DevOps
- Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI) 1.3 Specification
- Canvas LMS
- Linux
